Cast: 6 adult females

Truvy Jones – 40ish. Owner of the beauty shop.
Annelle Dupuy-Desoto – 19. Beauty shop assistant.
Clairee Belcher – 66ish. Widow of former mayor. Grande dame.
Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie – 25. Prettiest girl in town.
M’Lynn Eatenton – 50ish. Shelby’s mother. Socially prominent woman.
Ouiser (pronounced “Weezer”) Boudreaux – 66ish. Wealthy curmudgeon. Acerbic but lovable.

Requirements for auditions: recent bio, photo and a one or two minute comedic monolog
Auditions will also consist of cold readings from the script.

Rehearsals will begin Sunday February 17th. Rehearsals will be held Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday late-morning/early afternoon in the Village Community Centre.

Performance dates: April 25th to May 4th, 2013; Thurs-Sat 8pm, Sun 2pm;
Thurs-Sat 8pm, Sun 2pm
